You can expect at all times to be treated in a professional and respectful manner. For us that
means we will do five things:
Strive to understand and meet your specific needs: we will go the extra mile to get you the
Artistes you need, where and when you need them.
Provide a named and dedicated staff member who will work hard for you: our staff are the
best in the business and you should feel confident in their hands.
Communicate promptly: we will be available, proactive, honest and straightforward.
Deal with finance quickly and with accuracy: we aim to get it right first time, every time.
Make sure that the Artistes we provide are clear: about what to do, where to be and how to
work with you in a way that we can be proud of.
By proceeding with booking our artists you agree that you have read and understood and
agree with our terms as detailed below.
Impact Casting is acting as an Employment Agency in accordance with the Employment
Agencies Act 1973 and the conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses
Regulations 2003.
2) Types of assignment
2a) Film and TV
All work will be paid under the relevant agreement, either BBC/Equity, ITV/Equity, PACT/Equity
or FAA/PACT agreement. Full details of these agreements can be found on our website

2b) Photographic
All photographic jobs will be paid at an agreed rate. Either hourly, half day or full day, plus
appropriate usage fee.
2c) Commercials
All commercials will be for a 10-hour day (inc an hour for lunch) and overtime will be paid at a
fifth of the daily rate per hour, unless otherwise agreed. A special rate will be negotiated for night
work. All featured artistes will be entitled to repeat fees or an equivalent usage fee dependent on
the number of TVRs.
2d) Pop promos
All pop promos will be for a 10-hour day (inc an hour for lunch) and overtime will be paid at a fifth
of the daily rate per hour, unless otherwise agreed. A special rate will be negotiated for night
work. All featured artistes will be entitled to repeat fees or an equivalent usage fee.
2e) Corporate Videos
All Corporates will be for a 10-hour day (inc an hour for lunch) and overtime will be paid at a fifth
of the daily rate per hour, unless otherwise agreed. A special rate will be negotiated for night
work. All featured artistes will be entitled to repeat fees or an equivalent usage fee.
2f) Promotions
All promotions jobs will be paid at either a 5 hour or 10 hour rate. After 10 hours overtime will be
paid at a fifth of the daily rate, per hour unless otherwise agreed.
Voiceovers
All Voiceover work will be paid at an agreed hourly rate.
3) Tax and National Insurance
Artistes are self-employed for tax and National Insurance and therefore responsible for dealing
with their own NI contributions and Income Tax.
4)Usage
The status of the assignment shall be agreed before the job proceeds. Either Supporting Artiste,
Walk-on Artiste or Featured Artiste. If this status is found to be different after completion, then the
artiste may be entitled to be upgraded.
5) Employment
During the course of the job all artistes’ employment status will be dependent upon the specific
contract with the production company. Nothing in this agreement shall render artistes to be
employees of Impact Casting in any way. Impact Casting will act as an agency for the artistes.
6) Health and Safety
On set booked Artistes are the responsibility of the production company (the employer). The
production company must have suitable employers’ liability and public liability in place to cover
Artistes. Health and Safety is of paramount importance and is the responsibility of the production
company (the employer). It is essential that working practices are maintained at all times. A
failure to comply with Health and Safety regulations shall constitute a material irremediable
breach of this agreement. Relevant Health and Safety information must be relayed to the Artiste
in line with the Employment Agencies Act 1973.
7) Cancellations
If a confirmed booking is cancelled after midday the day before an assignment, a cancellation fee will be
charged of the basic daily rate. A failure by any artiste to comply with the Production Company’s
Health and Safety Policy shall constitute a material irremediable breach of this agreement.
Pencil bookings need to be confirmed before 5pm the day before the scheduled filming.
8) Payments
All payments must be made to Impact Casting Limited to our client account. If an artiste is paid
directly Impact Casting reserve the right to still invoice the production company.
If this is your first booking with Impact Casting we would require payment prior to the commencement of the assignment.
9)Late payments
All late payments will be subject to a surcharge of 10%. A payment is deemed late after 30 days
from the invoice date. Legal action will be taken to recover all unpaid invoices.
10) Identity
Impact Casting Ltd will obtain documentary evidence of each individual’s eligibility to work in the
UK and a copy of each individual’s passport or photographic id prior to their work on the project.
11) GDPR compliance:
The production company agrees to comply with all local data protection laws specifically GDPR
legislation. (2018)
12) Impact Casting will provide certain project-specific personal data on individual Artistes. This may
include their name, address, contact info, National Insurance number, photos and
measurements, proof of identity and any other relevant personal details needed for their booking.
The production company agrees they must safeguard all this data and only use it for production
purposes and delete it as soon as appropriate. The production company also agrees to never
share any of this personal data with anyone outside production. The production company must
notify Impact Casting if they think there may have been a data breach
